Reading .pdf
The text is Berlin1204. We will be using the version found in Serge Rosmorduc's JSesh, a hieroglyphic editor. If you don't have JSesh, you ain't got nuthin'. It's a free download from here. The text is found under file / open and then navigate to the EgyptianTexts directory. Since the software is free, I assume the text is, too. If not, Prof. Rosmorduc should send a message to GlyphStudy and let us know.
Here is the complete text of the reading, broken into sections. We'll start off doing one section a week, the first section is due on Sunday, 2011 November 13. Send your versions to the GlyphStudy Translation Group with the heading "Berlin1204-" followed by the section number. If you're not a member of the Translation Group, apply there as you did to GlyphStudy itself.
Off to the right of the text on this page is a .pdf containing the text for you to download. You'll need to rotate and enlarge it.
Here's the schedule as it stands right now, check back regularly for updates.
2011 Nov 13 - Section 1
2011 Nov 27 - Section 2
2011 Dec 11 - Section 3
2012 Jan 8 - Section 4
2012 Jan 22 - Section 5
2012 Feb 5 - Section 6
2012 Feb 19 - Section 7
I'll put the collations up on GlyphStudy and on this page in the area off to the right of the text, where the reading .pdf is. Collations will appear a day or two after the due date. I'm not going to make up any Study Guides for this one, so we're all on our own.
